Frequently Asked Questions - FBI Fingerprinting Services

You can walk-in to our office at 200 Town Centre Court #5, Scarborough (Passport Office Main Floor) with two (2) pieces of valid and original identification items to get your fingerprints on standard FD-258 Card. We can also provide FBI you with necessary information on how to get you FBI clearance from USA online if required.

We will provide FD-258 Fingerprint Card. You need to bring 2 pieces of government issued identifiocation items with you.

You need to bring two (2) pieces of valid, original and government-issued identification documents. One (1) piece of identification must include a photo, name, date of birth and signature of the applicant.

A Police Clearance Certificate or Identity History Summary Check from the USA is often referred to as Identity History Summary Checks, criminal background check, criminal history record, police/good conduct certificate. If you are in Canada then you must submit your fingerprints to the FBI on a standard fingerprint form (FD-258 Card). The process takes about 15-20 minutes.
